2009 A New Year

This new year starts off with all kinds of diversity.  There are wars, invasions, financial woes,  and many with health issues.  So, where are we as people headed this new year?  It’s looking bleak and we are staring at a possible time of great hardship.  America, has many problems, as it has always had.  We are looking toward many jobs, being done away with.  There are many who have already lost their jobs and now are loosing their homes, because of it.  Truly it’s turning out to be a bad year for world economy, and we are faced with many perils.

Old Miss vs Red Raiders

This was the last Cotton Bowl game and the Old Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, TX.  Next year the game will move to the new Cowboy Stadium, in Arlington, TX which is being built as we speak.  This is a great loss to Dallas, since they spent money redoing the present Cotton Bowl, located at Fair Park.  We needed to keep this money coming into the Dallas area, now it’s going to the Ft. Worth area and taking all the people with it.  Dallas let the Cowboys move and now we’ve lost the Cotton Bowl game too. What a mess for the Dallas economy.
