Hard To Choose

July 31, 2008 on 3:12 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

The nation is facing electing a person, who is not ready to lead the country. As of now, we are only looking at the two men, who are running against each other and they haven’t even picked running mates. Now what will we have when they do that? I wonder who McCain will pick as his running mate? That one’s a toss up of underdogs. Then you look to Obama, and what do you see? Clinton, isn’t a positive shoe in……..so, he could pick someone else at the last minute and surprise all of us. This is someone who won’t even salute the American Flag. 0041.JPG
I’m still worried at the outcome of the election, with these two men as candidates and no one else to choose from. The issue of McCain’s age has come up and that well could deter many, when choosing. Obama, hasn’t been on the front line in the military, so he can only guess, and either way the one who is finally our president, will be subject to the cabinet and advisers on each affair. The president really can’t run the government by himself, so all these other people will have their say in how he should decide.
I feel a certain snobbish air with each man, and wonder where the American people will be in 4 years. Certainly the middle and lower class people will suffer once again at the hands of our government. This time I also worry about our nations, elderly and disabled citizens. We really have a problem on the home front and it’s not going away any time soon.

STEP-BROTHERS?

July 30, 2008 on 4:48 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

Well, they say it’s not the best movie for the money…….so now what?
Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly get laughs as slacker siblings who need to grow up…….When Mom and Dad decide to wed, these almost 40 year olds are thrown together, and immediately hate each other…..but later decide they have to become fast friends, to keep their maladaptive behavior alive. These layabouts are lazy and crude……and have no jobs……..what a mess……….but still critics say it’s not all that good a movie…….check it out and see what you think?

Lasik For Today’s Eyes

July 29, 2008 on 4:42 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

I’ve been checking out the pro’s and con’s of laser surgery and I really don’t know if I should have the Lasik done or not. It’s a toss up whether you can get a good deal or if they will mess up your eyes. I’d be real interested in the crystal lens, since they say you can be almost like the bionic man. They say with that you will never go blind no matter how old you get. I wish I could afford it, but I know that’s not possible right now.
LASIK combines 3D mapping and customized treatment for the 1st all-laser technology. An estimated 2 hour exam includes 3-D mapping, customized wave-front measurements of your eye and an examination of your corneas. People with thin, irregularly shaped corneas or unrealistic expectations are not considered good candidates, because on a average 20-25% of people are ineligible. Lasik complications are less than 1%. and may include dry eye, halos & double vision that resolve over time or are managed by enhancements or therapy such as drops to replace the eye’s moisture. Lasik, is one of the most studied medical procedures, LASIK information is given with a exceptional track record to back it up. It’s fast and almost painless, so that makes it an exceptional way to correct your eyes and get the maximum results. They say you should get referrals and check out people who’ve had the surgery before you decide to take the plunge. I know that I would because these are the only eyes I have and I wouldn’t want to mess them up, at this time in my life.
I wish I could afford it, but I know that’s not possible right now. Tomorrow’s a new day and with this ever changing world I may become financially able to partake.

Misty’s Visit

July 29, 2008 on 4:36 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

Misty, surprised us with a late evening visit, around 10pm and told us she was in town for the night. But she managed to stay 4 days, somehow.

This is is Freddy, her ex-boyfriend/spouse, whatever you want to call him and her dog Shotzy, with her summer hair cut. Shotzy has been with Misty for 10 years.

Here she is in all her glory, straight in from the horse ranch, after a day’s hard work in the hot sun.

Resveratrol Helps Cancer Victim

July 29, 2008 on 3:25 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments

I recently visited a Forum, that had people who were talking about a cancer victim, who has only 4 months to live. They were in a conversation with the actual person, and giving this individual interesting information about Resveratrol. These resveratrol forum participants told of a dog they had which was given 6 months to live and was given this Resveratrol, in massive doses. The dog, has lived and had more tests done, which proved that the medicine had indeed worked to kill the cancer. Participants, in the forum are trying to get as much help through donations, to finance this drug in order to help this person’s attempt to beat this horrible disease. No one knows if it will work at all, but at least one member has seen her dog win against cancer using resveratrol, and believes it can be done. They are trying to support this individual, in his effort to live a full healthy life. Read the story on this website and become involved if you can.
