Lasik For Today’s Eyes

I’ve been checking out the pro’s and con’s of laser surgery and I really don’t know if I should have the Lasik done or not. It’s a toss up whether you can get a good deal or if they will mess up your eyes. I’d be real interested in the crystal lens, since they say you can be almost like the bionic man. They say with that you will never go blind no matter how old you get. I wish I could afford it, but I know that’s not possible right now.
LASIK combines 3D mapping and customized treatment for the 1st all-laser technology. An estimated 2 hour exam includes 3-D mapping, customized wave-front measurements of your eye and an examination of your corneas. People with thin, irregularly shaped corneas or unrealistic expectations are not considered good candidates, because on a average 20-25% of people are ineligible. Lasik complications are less than 1%. and may include dry eye, halos & double vision that resolve over time or are managed by enhancements or therapy such as drops to replace the eye’s moisture. Lasik, is one of the most studied medical procedures, LASIK information is given with a exceptional track record to back it up. It’s fast and almost painless, so that makes it an exceptional way to correct your eyes and get the maximum results. They say you should get referrals and check out people who’ve had the surgery before you decide to take the plunge. I know that I would because these are the only eyes I have and I wouldn’t want to mess them up, at this time in my life.
I wish I could afford it, but I know that’s not possible right now. Tomorrow’s a new day and with this ever changing world I may become financially able to partake.
