The Hardest Part……

I know I’m not the only one who’s been through this type of thing.  If you are alive in this world and made it through a few years of life, then you’ve had a loss of some sort.

Loosing a spouse to death, is horrible and very hard to deal with.  You’ll never see them again.

Loosing a spouse to a break up, is grueling on the emotions.  Seeing them later is bad enough, but with someone else is even harder.  Those looks they give you, really kicks you right in the teeth.  Your sitting there wondering what you ever saw in them in the first place…….and then:

The old memories, flood in to destroy any stiff upper lip you might have had.  Your heart jumps right up into your throat and that lump almost chokes you to death before, you can swallow hard enough to get rid of it.  There’s the burning sensation in your eyes, and you feel a sudden tear, pop out.  Time to get away from there, before you turn into a blubbering idiot.  I know……. it’s happened to me…..many times.  You see I haven’t had very good relationships down through the years…….and I truly believe it’s time for me to give up……..So, much for Love!
