Free TV……

We just got through the switch over to high definition and now they want to pull this on us poor people…..

A move that could spell the end of free TV as Americans have known it since the 1940’s.  TV stations have broadcast news, sports and entertainment for free and made their money by showing commercials. That might not work much longer.  The recession has squeezed advertising further, forcing broadcasters to accelerate their push for new revenue to pay for programming.

I’ve been considering furthering my education and have notice many online universities.  While looking through the many different establishments, who offer higher learning, I came across WGU.

Several subjects they offered a more economical way of obtaining an online degree while still working.  The degrees they have listed maintain a level of education that enhances your working field.  You can get a MA in your line of work and have an edge on your coworkers.

Their tuition seemed to be exactly what I as a student would need to blend with my finances, while handling my daily expenses.  Most colleges and universities have a larger scale that makes it tough to maintain.  Online universities have evolved into a more feasible way of obtaining higher education.  Going back to school after the children are gone, is something that give you that added incentive, when advancing in your field.

2010

This new year starts off with all kinds of diversity.  There are wars, invasions, financial woes,  and many with health issues.  So, where are we as people headed this new year?  It’s looking bleak and we are staring at a possible time of great hardship.  America, has many problems, as it has always had.  We are looking toward many jobs, being done away with.  There are many who have already lost their jobs and now are loosing their homes, because of it.  Truly it’s turning out to be a bad year for world economy, and we are faced with many perils.

Traveling……..

I know that during the spring and summer months you have seen many RV’s on the freeway’s.  They have the luxury of traveling our country and enjoying the site’s in the comfort of their motor home.  It’s a very rough ordeal, to have it break down on you.  So, you must be equipped with the necessary phone numbers or parts when a rv breakdown occurs.  I wouldn’t want to work on one, but I’m sure there are mechanic’s that are willing to assist.

Leaves

The apartment manager, was out this morning, mowing the courtyard.  It seems that he had rather mow the fallen leaves, than rake them.  I can understand that to a certain degree.  I wonder what he thinks is necessary, when he has someone out there raking a the same time.  It just doesn’t add up to common sense.
