Get Out……
June 5, 2009 on 3:53 pm | In Grief/Loss | No CommentsWhat’s the deal with men, who issue you an statement and then expect to live on you, till they get enough money, to get where they want to go? How, do you tell them, that if they want out so bad, why don’t they leave NOW! ? I just wondered, how they think your supposed to make their living, while they decide that they found a way, to get out? Damned the luck…..I can’t get it right……..I thought if you told someone, that you were moving out…….you were moving out…… guess it’s not so in this new world…..they just linger on…….is that what you see? Anyway, if he’s leaving…….then he needs to go………RIGHT? I’m too tired of the crap.
Kung Fu Actor Dead
June 4, 2009 on 4:46 pm | In Grief/Loss, Ideas | No CommentsA news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide. Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but they could not provide further details out of consideration for his family. Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot a movie and had been staying at the hotel since Tuesday. Carradine could not be contacted after he failed to appear for a meal with the rest of the film crew on Wednesday, and that his body was found by a hotel maid at 10 a.m. Thursday morning. Police investigation found that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the room’s curtains. It cited police as saying he had been dead at least 12 hours and there was no sign that he had been assaulted.
Our condolences go out to the Carradine family and their friends.
Job Losses………
May 21, 2009 on 6:06 pm | In Grief/Loss, business & Economy, Government, Financial | No CommentsEarlier this week, computer giant Hewlett-Packard Co. said it would cut 6,400 jobs, or 2 percent of its work force, while credit-card issuer American Express Co. said it was slashing 4,000 jobs. Weary auto makers General Motors Corp. and Chrysler recently announced they will terminate their contracts with around 2,000 dealerships nationwide, which likely will result in shutdowns for many. The National Automobile Dealers Association, a trade group, said the auto makers’ decisions could result in 100,000 job losses. Both building permits and housing construction fell to record low annual rates in April, the government said earlier this week. So, what are the people to do, if they have no work, no place to live and no food?
