For 2 days straight it rained. I thought it was going to wash the house away, but finally it got over and the sun came out. Many areas were hit with high winds, that tore up their properties. I’m really glad that we’ve been getting as much rain as we have this year. It has gotten to the point that it’s a bit too much on occasion. We Texans don’t gripe much unless it causes a problem, with high winds, bad storms, flooding or tornado’s. Then of course there’s a problem that must be dealt with. Otherwise the rains are mostly welcomed, because we are usually in a drought condition. The spring we have had a nice amount of rain. Yes, we also have had some bad storms. The plants and lawns are thriving, to say the least. It will become a problem, if someone did their yearly fertilizing. The grass and such will be to their knees before they can mow. 
I’m not the type of person, who goes around re-designing my home, neither can I afford it. It would be very nice to have the distinction of having that ability. Since I don’t, all I can do is look in the beautiful windows or go online and get idea’s on ways to make things look nicer.

This peach tree was about 2 ft. tall when we bought it 2 summers ago. I planted it as soon as we got home and I didn’t expect anything from it for another year or two. It suprised me this year and had several peaches on it. There are only 2 or 3 left because some of them didn’t set. They soon fell off and the birds had fun with the other peach tree. I finally pulled all the peaches off the other tree because the birds and the wasps were ruining them anyway. Just thought I’d show you this tree and how much it’s grown. 
They have predicted storms this evening, until 11pm and they seem to be threatening with high winds, heavy rains and hail. I always hate to see these types of storms, come to our areas, because they tend to leave some damage where ever they go. I don’t want to be in their path, but it looks as if, we will be getting some of the major effects. My fingers are crossed and I’ll be glad after they’ve gone on by.
