In recent articles, I showed you my easter lilies, and said they probably wouldn’t bloom until May, well it looks like I’m right on that prediction. They are just now starting to bud. I now have beautiful roses blooming in my yard. This is the same bush in full bloom now.

They say if you can’t get someone to buy you roses, then grow your own, and so I did. this is the first few blooms and now it’s in full array. The next rose is my yellow rose and the bud was taken before it opened, one week ago this lovely rose, was the bud above

This bush has many buds yet unopened but it will be full once they do.  This is just my front yard, the backyard has a vegetable garden in it.  I’ve put pictures of it here, in previous posts.

This was given to me by a lady that knows I’m a flower buff, so I need to plant it now that it has gotten a good drink from all the rain.  Last year I had several that I had planted but I didn’t get outside to cover them when the frosts and low temperatures, came and they froze.  I lost all of them except one, that is native to the Texas weather.  So, I will try to keep this one living and cover it this winter.  Right now I’m just going to enjoy it beauty and try to find more of these nice plants, for my yard.

TREES

I memorized this poem back in grade school, so I wanted to share it with you and there may be some of you out there that remember it too.

Since I last showed you pictures of the fruit trees, I had planted this one has flowered and is growing peaches. I hope they stay on the tree, as I’ve found that some have already fallen off, for whatever reason. The rains have really helped everything to take off growing.

As for my apricot tree, it looks like another year of growth and establishing itself in the ground, will have to take place before it will bloom and have fruit. It didn’t bloom this year at all.

Looking at this blog, I write I’m sure you can see that I’m outdoors, most of the time working in my yard and vegetable garden. Talking about allergies, all the sneezing, runny nose and red itchy eyes, I get them real fast.
