The rains came and this thing took off to blooming……..the other one didn’t do a thing. The same happened with one of my other plants. I have two mandavillas, and one bloomed and the other one didn’t. Now, I really don’t understand this, but then I’m not Mother Nature, so I guess I’ll just be thankful for what I have.
I really like my plants when they bloom, they are so pretty to see, when you Classifieds “>drive down the street by my home.
My sister gave me a small Classifieds “>start of these back 2 years ago and since then I’ve transplanted it a couple of times. This is the second time it’s bloomed, and I always like the lacy pink flowers. I also notice the lady across the street has one that’s much bigger than mine,
and hers is also in full bloom. Just a small limb will root very easy in water, then your off to a whole new plant. It handles all kinds of weather……..believe me.:)
I love to see my plants bloom after a good rain. These 2 bloom every time it rains and I really enjoy driving into my yard and seeing them waving at me in the breeze on a lazy day. This one was given to my by a lady that know how much I like plants, and the other one was bought for me by my ex-spouse. If I have nothing else I have my flowers, to enjoy.
I have many plants in my yard and a few days after the hurricane Ike, came through this beautiful rose, was blooming and so were many other flowers in my yard………wouldn’t it be nice if things this pretty would stay around and be this beautiful longer?
I can always count on these two to bloom for me, even when the others don’t.
I’ve had this orchid about a year and this is the second time it has bloomed. Actually, it was blooming when I bought it.
It only has 4 blooms, compared to the time I bought it, it had many on it. There are several new stems growing and soon, I will need to separate it and divide the plants. This is scary, because I have lost plants, trying to divide them in previous times. Especially African Violets, they are so easy to kill and so delicate. Ineed to get an African Violet, again and start some more new plants.
A blogger, who I check on occasionally , said she thinks this is a member of the Venus Fly Trap. It’s blooming and has other buds on it growing to mature flower size. I still haven’t had anyone tell me what the actual name is of it.
I have to get a picture of this plant when it blooms, because people think it’s something other than a Hibiscus………imagine that? I have 5 blooms on it today, tomorrow they’ll all be closed and I’ll have to wait for another bloom to open.
Every year these petunias, come u in my vegetable garden and make a nice array for the butterflies, to come to, and that helps to spread the pollen to the other plants. So, I just leave them and let them grow and look pretty.

They finally made it……..they bloomed………look how beautiful they are……..I just planted them last year and they bloomed for me this year……..usually it takes Easter Lily’s two years to establish themselves in the soil………but these took off. I really enjoy growing my own plants, there’s gratification in it.
Look what my boyfriend bought me………isn’t it gorgeous….actually he bought 2 one for either side of the front porch.
I love beautiful flowers, and always try to have plenty around me, all through the year. I find them to be uplifting, don’t you? Today, has been rainy and so I have they getting all this nice rain.
