A Yard Full

This is a very sad situation, when one member of a household, gets mentally sick and takes their frustrations out on people. Most of these incidents are against family members, who can’t defend themselves.
My daughter as well as myself have gone through times that extreme violence was placed on us. We were attacked by our spouses, and left in a sad condition physically, emotionally and financially. It took many years for me to see that I was in a “no win” situation, and change my life. I had to file charges on my spouse and make sure that they stuck. Otherwise he would have kept doing it, had I let him off.
In New Jersey, there are attorney’s who are able to assist, people who have been attacked by members of their family. The laws govern new jersey domestic violence like many other states do. I don’t live in this area, but there are many people who reside in New Jersey. I hope they are smarter than I was and get help for these situations, before something really bad comes of it. Some attacks have resulted in death, and that’s a bad way to experience this type of crime.
Some people can be wrongly accused of these crimes, and need a good attorney to aide in their defense.
