Yes, I’ve got peaches and this is the first year the tree was planted. I bought it 2 months ago and was worried about it blooming.  It’ really come along with all the rain we’ve been getting.  I was worried the cold weather, we’ve had would kill the new flowers and the bees wouldn’t be able to pollinate them.

But they made it through the cold weather and now even though the original amount that was on the tree isn’t there now, there’s still several left.

Two years form now it should really be producing, bar any weather related storms, bug or birds………lol

Did you know that legumes are a very good substitute for meat products.  Beans and peas have a high % of protein and are a good source, so they  can be a good vegetable to put in place of meat.    When seasoned and cooked they can compliment any meal.

How many times have you heard that? Parents have a way of getting the job done, don’t they? There are some the kids will like, but naturally the one’s they need, are the one’s they don’t and won’t eat. Broccoli, yuck!:(
There’s a lot of fruit that kids don’t like either, especially the grapefruit. The acid and sour taste turns them off. Now, I wonder what we thought was so great about lemons and peppermint sticks, back when we went to the football games, in high school?

Fruit and nuts just are a pain for kids,:( unless you peel them and crack the shells, for them. They are just to lazy to do the work.
